How to Save Money When Travelling
You're here because you love to travel, right? I remember people thinking that I was crazy when I wanted to travel the second I turned 18, then the same again when I turned 30. These are the times society tells us we're supposed to be going to university and getting a serious job or settling down and starting a family.

Well, I rebelled against those societal 'norms', let me help you to do more of what you love. Starting with how to save money when travelling...
Learn a Skill
Travelling becomes much easier when you have a skill that can be traded, used as a bargaining tool or just plain work when you need too. For me this was Make Up Artistry but this can be many things, cooking, farming, heavy lifting, photography, labour work etc the list is endless!

Travelling long term of full time becomes possible when you strip your mind of the conventional work space and think outside of the box!

Make Friends
ALWAYS make local friends, not only will this open you up to money making opportunities if needed, it also means you now have access to the BEST knowledge about the local area.
You will be making amazing memories with your new friends in the best eateries, visiting the lesser known spots and places to be that you might never have known about otherwise.
One of the best things about this is that because friendship goes both ways, you can help your new friends and be their tour guide if they visit some place you know well!
Stay Flexible
Although it can be tempting to plan your trip out well in advance, it might be best to go with the flow and have only a loose plan. You may change your mind at the last minute if you fall in love with a new place and wish to stay longer, on the flip side you might absolutely hate somewhere and want to leave ASAP.
You also benefit from cheaper rates that are only available last minute (unless you're an industry insider).

Seasonal Work
Seasonal work is a great option if you have the travel bug but don't have the funds to up and travel right now. It gives you the opportunity to spend a few months in a new place, explore where you are, make new friends and more importantly save, save, save that cash so that you can fund the next leg of travel for yourself!

Travelling off season is a great option because there's less crowds, which means there's more to see, getting around is much easier and of course rates are cheaper!
Go Off Grid
Getting off the beaten track allows you to really see the sights, immerse yourself in the local culture and see what others tourists don't. It will be less expensive than the hot tourist spots and you will see how the local people live, the way of life there and of course what it really means to travel, have an adventure and experience new things!

Travel Smarter
Find a way to fund your own travel without having to work. Get access to the best kept secret in the travel industry... How to travel smarter and save up to a whopping 80%!
Not only will this stretch your travel tour further but it also means that you can afford to sleep in the best places, treat yourself to a little luxury every now and again (or every night), taste the local delicacy and get everything you want from your trip WITHOUT it hurting your budget!
